Mr. Umed Singh Chhillar is General Secretary of Institution of Fire Engineers – India (IFE India) & Chief Fire Consultant in J.P. Associates. MR. Chhillar has served Indian army for 8 years, thereafter for 34 years he worked with Delhi Fire Services as operational & fire prevention officer. He has a vast experience in fire safety audit inspections and planning and fire safety requirements as per fire safety rules & NFPA / BIS codes for institutional, commercial & industrial projects. He is associated with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) representing IFE India for drafting specifications and code of practices on firefighting equipment & systems. Hon. Fellow of IFE India, Mr. Chhillar has been awarded with President Fire Service Medal for meritorious service.
