Mr. Kamal Khokhani, Managing Director of Akar InfoMedia Private Limited (or simply AIM) has a rich and diverse experience, spanning more than three and half decades. As the CEO of this company, he has established AIM as an interactive and effective B2B media and tradefair platform in the field of building services industry in India. As a part of the long term strategy, AIM publishes two well-respected and well-received publications - Indian Plumbing Today (IPT) and INSITE.

His association with IPA dates back to 1999, when he joined hands to bring out Indian Plumbing Today (IPT) and later, the organized database – Plumbing Directory of India (PDI), as an annual affair. He has also forged an alliance with IPA for organizing conferences at various destinations across the country. He has successfully organized thirteen conferences so far, at various destinations across the country. IPA and AIM have successfully organized the third edition of international exhibition of plumbing and allied products – PlumbexIndia'10, early this year. The Fourth edition – PlumbexIndia'11 is scheduled in February 2011. AIM has also joined hands with IAPMO group of USA for bringing out the Uniform Plumbing Code – India (UPC-I) and also acts as their sole distributor in India.

With his such a close association with IPA for around one decade, Mr. Khokhani has made his modest contribution in integrating the Indian plumbing fraternity and bringing the players of the Indian plumbing industry on a single platform called - IPA.
