Dilli, the Islamic Capital of medieval era and New Delhi, the Imperial Capital of British Raj era, are now merged with surrounding areas of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad to emerge as NCR.

Spread in an area of more than 1500 sq kms, NCR is the melting-pot of arts, crafts, cultures, traditions and lifestyle with a heady mix of 'old' and 'new'… With rising population and emerging economy, NCR is becoming 'newer' and 'newer', with each passing day ! It is here, the name – New Delhi becomes more apt !

Unfortunately, this 'New' Delhi is loaded with a daunting task of providing access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation facility to more than 20 million people. If that is not enough, growing urbanisation keeps adding the headcounts to the already over-burdened administration !

With this backdrop, Indian Plumbing Association (IPA) and Akar InfoMedia Private Limited (AIM) have planned the next national convention on plumbing at NSIC Complex, New Delhi.
